We are excited to announce two new online bass fishing tournaments coming up this summer - the July National Bass Tournament and the August National Bass Tournament!
The July tournament will run from July 18th through July 31st. The August tournament will follow right after, running from August 1st through August 31st. Both tournaments will be length-based, with anglers submitting photos of their best 5 bass by total length. There will also be a bonus prize for the single heaviest bass weighed on a connected scale.
For those new to online tournaments, here's how it works: you can fish anywhere, anytime during the tournament time period. Just make sure to take clear photos showing the full length of each fish on a measuring device before releasing it back into the water. Upload your photos to the tournament app and the lengths will be automatically calculated. It's that easy!
At the end of each tournament, prizes will be awarded to the anglers with the longest combined total length for their 5 bass. You'll have until midnight on the last day of the tournament to submit your photos.
The full rules and scoring details can be found at the Connect Fishing League website, but the basics are:
- Fish any public waterway in the USA
- Submit photos of your best 5 bass by total length
- Bonus prize for heaviest single bass weighed on connected scale
- Photos must include entire fish on measuring device
Registration is open now - don't miss your chance to compete in these exciting new online tournaments! Let me know if you have any other questions.
